Grande Prairie Air Show Friday night attended a mixer and got to meet many of the CF-18 Hornet flight crew. Also met the people who arranged the insurance package, sounds like it was the biggest insured event in the last 5 yrs in the area. It was pretty cold and windy on Saturday but many of us braved the elements to take in some amazing stunts.

Seat Sale E-Mail/Fax Out
Sent out email to Kevin's Email list, a number of addresses (12) were dead, removed from list and sent new list to Kevin. Planning for another mail-out on Friday, with revised information/content.
VIP Sales
Spoke with Penn West in PR; They're pressing for some kind of deal, and mentioned that for every 11 flights on Swanberg they get 2 free. Tanin got back to me with an offer of a 2 confirmed seats included for every $20,000 contribution to their account with us. Spoke with Clem earlier in the morning and he mentioned that EnCana is no longer certified to fly with Swanberg. Shaina is my contact at the PR office and is giving our offer to her decision maker, as decision maker is away for vaccation shortly we should have a response tomorrow.
Set to follow up with J&J Services in FSJ, also planning to visit Wednesday, July 27, before Airshow starts (I'd like to take them out for lunch)
GP Regional Tourism Promotional Video
Finally booked and gotten payment for the three video crew coming to GP to do the shoot. They are only flying one way with us. All done for now, looking forward to seeing video.
GP Airshow
Will be going in Fri afternoon to attend evening social function with other sponsors (ie valuable leads). Put up ticket poster for staff interested.
FSJ Airshow
Got a call from local paper at 3 pm with a request for our FSJ Airshow Booklet advertisement by 5 pm. Called Kevin to handle it, but turns out he's in Sask. I just finished it off and emailed it. See the ad (2 inch by 2 inch)
PeaceFest Report
Was very sucessfull, seen by hundreds, gave away about a hundred air-fresheners, told 150 people about seat sale, and had 70 brief conversations with passerbyers. Set up next to the Library tent, as main street only had a few displays, all the action was on the far end of main-street. Need to have a draw or event next year. Also did projected billboard Friday 10pm to 12 am; I need a custom colored gel spotlight, the projector just isn't big enough.

Had Evans change background of new Seat Sale webpage to black, Tanin had a change to the color of the link on the homepage. As soon as my laptop gets back I'll make a flash window for the seat sale and change all references to LMC.

Darcy had some early leads:
Maximum Powersports, Shad Musio; Darcy spoke with, and Shad is concerned about having spectators damage demonstration units at the show. Need to see how badly a snowmachine will damage ice surface of rink, before I counter with an offer of an intermission drive around the ice.
Waste Management, Trevor Crow; Very excited! He's stopping in at Kal Tire tomorrow so I left Darcy a copy of the booklet for Trevor.
Martin Heinan(?) of Fossil Communications had mentioned to Darcy he's interested
